Holiday Club
Holiday club is available throughout the school holidays
At our Holiday Club, your child will be cared for by our dedicated Early Years Practitioners and Classroom Assistants. These will be familiar faces for your child with whom they will already have established strong, trusting relationships.
Children are placed into two clubs:
- Preschool and Reception
- Year 1 to Year 6
Our Holiday Club runs from 8am to 6pm, with flexible options to suit your needs: morning sessions (8am – 1pm) or afternoon sessions (1pm – 6pm) if a full day is not required.
A hot lunch is provided, and children should bring a packed tea. As the club takes place during the holidays, children do not need to wear school uniform.
Exciting Adventures and Day Trips
At our Holiday Club, children are encouraged to influence and suggest activities based on their own interests so they can enjoy a wide range of engaging activities tailored to their age group. These include arts and crafts, building Lego creations, board games, talent shows, outdoor games and much more. We are able to use Highfield Priory’s extensive facilities, including Highfield Haven, the all-weather pitch, and a variety of specialist teaching rooms to provide diverse experiences throughout the day.
Our Holiday Club also offers exciting trips using our school minibuses, visiting local and regional attractions such as:
- The Butterfly House at Williamson Park
- Brockholes Nature Reserve
- Beacon Fell
- Blackpool Zoo
- Blue Planet Aquarium
- Ribby Hall
- Martin Mere
- Wild Boar Park
- Local Parks and Farms
- Bowling at the Flower Bowl
- Beaches
- Seasonal Trips (Pumpkin Picking etc)
We also offer a range of specialist workshops
Our Holiday Club offers a range of specialist sessions led by our talented staff, giving children the opportunity to explore new skills and interests in a fun and supportive environment. These sessions are designed to spark curiosity, build confidence and let children discover new passions while having a fantastic time.
