Why Choose Preston for Your Family?

As house prices and the cost of living continues to rise across the country more and more families are coming to Lancashire and specifically Preston. Thanks to its unique blend of affordability, opportunity, and quality of life, Preston is emerging as a modern city that offers everything a family needs to grow and succeed.

Ideal Solution...

Preston has evolved to offer all the essentials of urban living without sacrificing the community feel of a smaller town. Its friendly people, beautiful parks, rich history, and lively atmosphere make it a place where people quickly feel at home. With access to stunning natural scenery, a variety of job opportunities in the local area, easy access to hubs such as Manchester and Liverpool and the increase in flexible working, Preston has become an attractive place to live and work. As a result of this growth, schools in Preston are mostly oversubscribed making it difficult to find an appropriate school. Even then a school which has an available place may not do so by the time you have secured a suitable property.

At Highfield Priory we offer an ideal solution for families relocating either from other parts of the UK or abroad. Unlike most independent schools that require you to register well in advance, Highfield Priory is flexible and understands most relocating families are often working with just months to spare. In these cases, we work with families to ensure a convenient and efficient application. We also allow children to join at any point in the year not just in September. As a result of this, many families have joined our school after relocating. We have also been delighted to welcome families who have relocated with the primary objective of joining our school.
